The short version: an agent confirms your flights and total price before you pay, the price won't change after you've paid, changes and refunds follow the airline's fare rules, and you can cancel for free within 24 hours of paying if you're travelling at least a week later and the airline allows it.
01Who we are
Upclass is a trade name of Upclass Flights LLC, Atlanta, Georgia (“we”, “us”). We are a travel agency: we search for, reserve and sell air travel on your behalf. We are not an airline and we don't operate any flights.
By requesting a quote, accepting a checkout link or paying for a booking, you agree to these terms on behalf of yourself and every traveler in the booking, and you confirm you're at least 18 and authorized to do so.
02How booking works
We don't sell tickets through an online booking engine. Every booking is made by a personal agent:
- Fares on our website are estimates based on live market data. They are not an offer to sell, and availability changes constantly.
- Your agent confirms the exact flights, fare, fare rules and total price with you, then reserves the seats.
- We send you a personal, secure checkout link showing the itinerary and the total. Seats are held only until the time shown on that page; after that the link expires and the price may change.
- Your booking is confirmed only when payment has been received and the tickets have been issued. We email your e-ticket numbers once they are.
If an airline or fare becomes unavailable before tickets are issued, or a price was shown in error, we'll contact you before charging anything more. You can then accept the new option or receive a full refund of anything you've paid.
03Prices and payment
- The total on your checkout page is the full price in US dollars: airfare, all government taxes, airline-imposed fees and our service fee. Optional services you choose (such as Travel Care) are listed separately before you pay.
- We will not increase the price after you've paid, except for government taxes or fees introduced after your purchase that the airline requires us to collect, which we would discuss with you first.
- Payments are processed by our payment provider, Stripe. Card details go directly to Stripe; we never see or store your full card number. The charge appears on your statement from Upclass.
- To protect you from fraud we may ask the cardholder to confirm the purchase by phone or to provide identification. If we can't verify a payment, we may cancel the booking and refund it in full.
04Names, passports and visas
- Names must match each traveler's passport exactly. Airlines can refuse boarding when they don't, and name corrections may not be possible or may cost a new ticket.
- Each traveler is responsible for having a valid passport, any visas, transit visas, travel authorizations (such as ESTA or ETIAS) and health documents required for every country on the itinerary. Many countries require a passport valid for six months beyond the travel dates.
- Any information we give about entry requirements is general guidance, not legal advice. Please check with the relevant embassies or official government sources.
05Airline rules and our role
We act as an agent for the airlines. Your flights are provided by the airline under its own conditions of carriage and the rules of the fare you buy, which your agent shares with you before you pay. The airline is responsible for operating the flights, including delays, cancellations, schedule changes, overbooking, seating and baggage handling.
When something goes wrong we will help: rebooking, contacting the airline and pursuing any refund or compensation you are entitled to.
06Changes, cancellations and refunds
Within 24 hours of purchase
If you contact us within 24 hours of paying and your departure is at least 7 days away, we'll cancel the booking and refund it in full, including our service fee and any optional services, provided the airline allows the ticket to be voided or refunded.
After that
- Changes and refunds follow the airline's fare rules. Many business and first class fares are partly or fully non-refundable or charge a change penalty, plus any difference in fare.
- For a change we handle after tickets are issued, we charge a service fee of $75 per traveler; for a refund, $75 per traveler. These are in addition to any airline penalty and fare difference, and we'll always tell you the total before making a change.
- Refunds are paid back to the original card once the airline has refunded us. Our service fees are non-refundable unless the refund is due to our error.
When the airline changes or cancels your flight
If the airline cancels your flight or makes a significant change and you choose not to travel, you're entitled to a refund of the unused ticket under US Department of Transportation rules. We'll process it for you at no charge from us.
07Baggage
Baggage allowances and fees are set by each airline and can differ between flights on the same trip. Business and first class fares usually include checked bags, but not always. Your agent confirms the allowance before you pay; any bag fees the airline charges are not included in our price unless shown on your checkout page. See each airline's baggage policy for details.
08Optional services
Travel Care and Lost Baggage Protection are optional services provided by Upclass. They are not insurance. Their benefits, conditions and how to use them are set out in the Travel Care & Lost Baggage Protection terms.
09Referral program and Best Price Guarantee
Referral program
- Any client with a ticketed booking with us gets a personal referral code, shown in their account (or ask their agent), to share with friends, family or colleagues.
- A referred client who has never booked with us before gets $100 off their first eligible booking: a paid and ticketed booking with at least $1,000 in airfare. They must give the code to their agent before paying.
- The client who referred them receives a $100 credit in their Upclass account once that booking has been ticketed and the 24-hour cancellation period has passed. It isn't earned if the booking is cancelled or refunded.
- You can't refer yourself, anyone travelling on the same booking as you, or yourself under another name or email.
Best Price Guarantee
If you find the same trip for less, we'll match the price and send you a $100 voucher towards your next trip with us, on these conditions:
- It covers transatlantic and transpacific business and first class tickets departing from the U.S. that you bought from us.
- You call your agent within 2 hours of paying, then email [email protected] a copy of the competitor's quote.
- The quote must be for the identical itinerary: the same flights, dates, cabin, booking class, fare basis and fare calculation, for the same travelers. It must show the total including all taxes and fees, and still be available for purchase when we check it.
- It must come from a U.S. travel agency or airline that sells to the public. Award and frequent-flyer tickets, opaque or auction fares, corporate, group, membership or coupon fares, package prices and fares published in error don't qualify.
- Once we've verified the quote, we refund the difference to the card you paid with and email you the voucher. One claim per booking.
Credits and vouchers
- Referral credits and Best Price Guarantee vouchers apply to a future booking with Upclass, are valid for 12 months from the date they're issued, have no cash value and can't be transferred or sold.
- One credit or voucher per booking. They can't be combined with each other or with other discounts, but the referred client's $100 off counts as that booking's discount.
- We may refuse or withdraw a discount, credit or voucher obtained through fraud or abuse of these rules. We may change or end these programs at any time; credits and vouchers already issued stay valid until they expire.
10Payment disputes
If something isn't right, please contact us first: most problems can be solved quickly. Disputing a card payment with your bank while a ticket is valid can cause the airline to cancel the ticket and can delay any refund the airline would otherwise pay.
11Calls, texts and email
When you request a callback you agree that we may call and text you about your request and booking. Calls may be recorded for quality and training; we'll tell you at the start of the call. You can opt out of texts by replying STOP and of marketing emails with the unsubscribe link. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle your information.
12Our liability
To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for losses caused by airlines, airports, governments, weather or other events outside our control, or for indirect or consequential losses. Otherwise, our liability for any booking is limited to the service fees you paid us for it. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that can't be excluded.
13General
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia and applicable US federal law. We may update them from time to time; the version on this page when you paid applies to your booking.
